Young Coders is an introduction to "coding", (also known as computer programming), designed for children ages 7 to 13 years old.  Working with a partner, children will be introduced to 2 types of coding: block-based (using graphics/icons) and text-based (using words/phrases). The course provides a playful introduction to the basics of computer science as children learn about commands, functions, loops, conditional sstatements and variables, while developing their problem solving and logic skills.
