HOL LAUNCHES ONLINE COURSES

October 8, 2020

After many months of research and testing, we are happy to offer you online courses for your children. Within the STEM, Robotics and Computer Science fields, we have put together a roster of courses that deliver high quality learning experiences for primary and secondary school students. These are not live classes and so they allow your children to participate at any time of day with the lessons always available and accessible.

Another strength of having online learning platforms as part of our catalogue is that the built-in activities give the children a chance to learn at their own pace and use interactive, engaging tools. We will provide instructor support to all our courses as students progress through various challenges and assessments. In these rapidly advancing and uncertain times, we believe that these are some of the courses that help to futureproof your child’s education.

We will be offering online courses in:

  • Coding

  • Robotics

  • Typing

  • Reading

  • Mathematics

  • Musical Math

  • Explorations in Coding

  • Intro to Computer Science

  • AP Computer Science Principles

The AP Computer Science Principles (AP CSP) course is targeted at Grade 11 and 12 students. If successful in the exam on May 13, 2021, students receive college credits at universities in the USA and Canada.

Additionally, students who register for AP CSP or Intro to Computer Science will gain access to AWS Educate and develop skills in Artificial Intelligence & Cloud Computing by doing Amazon Future Engineer Activities.

Registration is now open! For more details visit: www.hallsoflearning.com/online-courses
