The top 20 students from Round 3 have automatically advanced to the Round 4, which will be an 8-week national camp that includes weekly preparation for certifications in AI and training for the IOAI in China.  The training camp will delve deeper into the theory and practice of AI and focus on machine learning, neural networks & deep learning, computer vision and natural language processing. 

The training camp starts next Tuesday, May 13, 4 - 6pm with weekly sessions until July 1. 
 
The cost of this training programme will be subsidized at US$150 per student.
 
Attendance, participation and completion of activities and certification will be used to determine the national team.
 
By the end of the camp, we will select the team of 4 students who will represent Jamaica at the IOAI in Beijing, August 2-9, 2025 and compete against 60+ countries.
 
After July 1, the second part of the training camp will continue with the weekly sessions for the national team as the first round of the IOAI starts in July 2025 with an at-home task. The team will be expected to work throughout July on this task.
